Nitin appeared in the apartment this morning looking uncharacteristically disheveled, having fallen asleep last night on the carpet of a random apartment at Eddygate. For some reason, his experience last night gave him some bizarre desire to get a pet. After determining that he was in fact serious (Nitin is prone to some strange whims from time to time) we went down to Pyramid Mall to check out the selection at the pet store there. After settling upon a Koi and then rejecting it after being notified that they grow to be three feet long, we decided upon two fighting fish, one purple and crimson and the other blue and green, who now spend the day glaring at each other from their separate bowls.
Through a coin toss, we decided to name the former Kim Jong-Il and the latter Hans Blix.
Hum… I hope they don’t grow to be 5 feets or more ^_^. Just wondering, but why Hans Blix for a fighting fish ? Wasn’t he the belgian inspector sent in Irak to determine the veracity of the MDW ? So I’d see him more as a peace maker, than a fighter (especially so since he was a UN inspector, and UN prones peace after all !).
